The Trailblazer On The Farm program is a fantastic addition to your homeschooling experience. Regardless of whether your child is in Pre-K or at an elementary grade level, this program offers interactive, hands-on lessons that immerse them in nature.
Conveniently located just five minutes from Sylvan Lake, we are fortunate to have a wonderful one-room schoolhouse where children can learn, while also gaining valuable life lessons from their time spent on the farm.
At Trailblazer Academy, we promote collaborative learning, as we believe that significant life skills are developed through interactions among different age groups. It’s uncommon to be surrounded solely by peers of the same age after leaving school.
Younger children benefit from the guidance of older peers, serving as role models. Meanwhile, older children have the opportunity to assist younger ones, cultivating patience and other essential skills.
We value learning together and fostering a sense of community, all while honoring each child's grade level and unique needs. It’s truly the best of both worlds.
6 Week Program
This program is available for children ages 5-12.
Part time & full time options available. 2 days/week or 1 day/week. $50 per day.
2 full days a week from 9am-3pm (Tues & Thurs) - $600/6 weeks
1 full day a week from 9am-3pm (Tues OR Thurs) - $300/6 weeks
This is our drop-off program designed to engage your child in hands-on learning, where academic concepts are explored through life skills and play. They will be immersed in nature and farm life while also enjoying a fun classroom experience.
School supplies are included in our registration fees. Your child only needs to bring their backpack, lunch, water bottle & a change of clothes
Children must be potty trained

This program is available for children ages 5-12
Your child will join our Trailblazers for the day & get to participate in all classes, lessons & activities. This is ONLY available if our programs are not fully booked. If you want to guarantee your child(ren) a spot then we recommend registering for full or part time.
Drop-In services are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, depending on availability. Please note that if our six-week program reaches capacity, drop-in will not be an option.
Drop in is $65 a day per child
Children must bring their own packed lunch
Children must be fully potty trained

We offer tours of our location and trial half days for those of you that are interested before registering your child.
Our Trailblazers spend as much time as possible on the farm and outdoors, regardless of the weather. Therefore, we kindly request that everyone wears appropriate clothing for the conditions and brings an extra change of clothes at all times. We encourage them to embrace their adventurous spirit and explore, which may result in getting muddy or wet.
